The Telescopic Spectacles K 4 vario are fitted monocularly with a Kepler-type telescope system with a magnification of 4x for distance vision. The system can be set from distance to near vision by appropriately turning the objective lens.
The Telescopic Spectacles K 4 vario can be optionally fitted with a locking ring which serves as an objective stop for the largest object distance requested by the wearer. It can be attached in any position on the system housing using a pin screw.
The teleloupe magnification for near vision totals a maximum of 8x (with correction of 0.0 D). This near magnification can be increased to 10x by the attachment of a clip-on lens.
Persons with low vision can use the K 4 vario Telescopic Spectacles to recognize objects in the distance, at intermediate distances and in the close-up range.
For mounting reasons, the distance between the principal visual point and the rim of the frame must not be less than 13 mm.
